Aight, after playing many games I've noticed most Gilneas factions are always the same thing. there either corrupted by the black dragonflight or just some the typical black-grey themed faction. Given that little is known of what is going on, I think we can simply make up our own story and own unit tech tree and theme for them in Azeroth Tactics. After much thought, I have come up with some good ideas.

Aftermath of the 2nd war: After the climactic ending of the 2nd war and final defeat of the evil Orcish horde, conflicts began to arise between the nations that made up the human alliance. With Terenas' decision to put the remaining orcs in internment camps instead of killing them to ensure they could never rise again greatly angered Baron Genn Greymane, the leader of Gilneas. When Terenas issued his next decree, a tax to pay for the costly internment camps, Genn had had enough. He along with a few more nations left the human alliance and decided to go their own way. To make sure he would never have to worry about any outside threats again, Greymane built the "Greymane Wall" a massive wall to remove him and his nation from what he considered "other people's problems." Little did he know of what was to come inside his nation...

The Civil wars: The Greymane Wall was finally completed after three years of construction. However, the wall had nearly bled the treasury dry and Genn needed more to transform the Gilneas economy into an isolationist economy. To raise new funds, Genn levied a new tax. The tax started low but soon became extremely high. Poverty and crime were growing and even lawlessness was taking over isolated rural towns. Genn was disgusted by this and was willing to let his nation decay into anarchy and chaos. To combat the crimelords who had come to govern certain towns and to keep order in his nation, Genn reformed the old nearly obsolete Gilneas army into the Crimson Guard. The Guard only allowed the best soldiers in, and those that didn't prove themselves were placed into irregular army units that were lead personally by High ranking Crimson Guardsmen. The Guard crushed the powerful crime lords and criminal syndicates that had controlled 1/4 of the nation in what was later called the Underground war as the crime lords had their own henchmen and there were many skirmishes. The war was brief but it gave Genn much popularity and praise. However, Genn would still not remove the tax and was growing rather tyrannical and corrupt. He began using fear and oppression to control his nation and the Crimson Guard killed any who opposed his rule. As time passed and Genn became worse, some people began to think that it was time to overthrow the tyrannical baron. However soon hope was coming when a man by the name of Karl left the Guard, disgusted by the atrocious things they were ordered to do. He soon founded a resistance movement called the "Freedom League" to overthrow Baron Greymane. At first they were weak, however they soon found allies in many of the irregular army regiments who were generally downtrodden by the Crimson Guard. At first Greymane did not consider them a threat, but when they lead a successful raid on the Crimson Guard fortress, Genn became angry. Though their main target was Errol, who they had aimed to assassinate, they had caused much damage to the fortress and made the Baron look bad. Angered greatly, Genn ordered Errol to use the Guard to hunt down the rebels and slaughter them all. And so began the Gilneas Civil War had begun. For 5 long years, there was endless warfare, though the Freedom League only had a few major victories, they always escaped and their guerrilla raids were for the most part successful. The war was fought to a standstill which ended only because strange creatures from the sea began raiding the coastal region. Though the baron did remove the tax finally and brought some reform, it was little to what he had done during and before the war. The Baron set up the Gilneas Council to help him rule. Not so long afterwords, the Freedom League was betrayed and Karl was captured. Though Genn greatly wanted to execute him, he knew that it may cause further war, so he banished Karl and the Freedom League went mostly defunct. Baron Genn Greymane soon heard reports of war brewing outside his wall and began preparing the Crimson Guard for his own gains.

All the units seem a little OP.
Give cost on units.
Specific stats on heroes.
